Open Seminars in Philosophy and Psychiatry Foundation is honored to host the 21st Annual Conference of the International Network for Philosophy and Psychiatry ‘Experts in Mental Health’ that will take place from 22 to 24 October 2019 in Warsaw.

We invite panel proposals, oral presentations as well as posters.
 

90 minutes panel proposals should include a chair plus a maximum of 3 participants. Oral presentations should not exceed 30 minutes including discussion.

For each type of participation please submit an abstract of 200-500 words via the online registration form >>.

The final registration deadline is 15 September.

The invitation to take part in the 21st Annual Conference INPP 2019 is open to researchers, professionals, and persons working and/or interested in the field of mental health, including philosophers, sociologists, historians, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, medical doctors, nurses, etc.

Workshops and accompanying events will take place in Warsaw and other cities during the conference and for a few days after. Gala and artistic part is scheduled for the second day of the conference.

The knowledge, skills, and competences of mental health experts are a topic of growing scholarly and public interest worldwide. Particularly intriguing are the questions concerning types of expertise held by mental health professionals, their mutual relations, and their attitude towards patients and families. The goal of the INPP 2019 conference is to influence current theoretical, clinical, social, and political debates on this subject.
